Objectives
This course familiarizes the trainees to many aspects of Health and Safety at work and is planned to raise safety standards and awareness to reduce / eliminate personal injury on board.
The course is designed to enhance the ability of trainees to know how to recognize / identify hazards and safely manage them.

- Demonstration of the following -:
- Proper use of Body Harness
- Importance of use of Helmet
- How safety shoes prevent foot injury
- Dangers associated with the use of Ladders, Scaffoldings
- Dangers associated with manual lifting, handling of steel plates and pipes
- Dangers associated while working on rotating machines
- Dangers associated with electric welding
- Dangers associated with electricity
