Confluence of Maritime & Insurance Sectors
INTRODUCTION
‘Risk & Marine Insurance Conference’ is intended to be a platform of common interest to shipping and insurance stakeholders and professionals. The conference promises an opportunity to share and refurbish important aspects of Marine Insurance & Risk Management in Marine & Logistics Sectors.
The “Tolani Maritime Institute”, along with the “National Insurance Academy”, is, for the first time, hosting a conference where the stalwarts of the insurance sector will get together to exchange views on the latest trends in the sector.
With the Prime Minister’s call of ‘Make in India’, there is going to be a boom in the country’s trade. This will lead to an ever-rising need of logistics and shipping. An increase in cargo-handling, without a doubt will lead to increase in Cargo & H&M insurance involvement. This conference will provide an opportunity to gain knowledge related to Marine Insurance, Risk management in shipping & logistics sectors and P&I insurance. The information dissipated here will enable professionals to work towards improving the health of both sectors.
The conference will showcase the immense knowledge of the very experienced personnel in the field in the form of key-note speakers. This is an opportunity for working professionals as well as students to present papers at the conference, thereby working on and learning more about the status quo of the insurance sector.
